The cost of slips, trips and falls in buildings are a costly health problem that disproportionately affects the most vulnerable sectors of our society, namely the elderly and younger children. With an increasing youth and aging population, urgent actions need to be taken to improve the design and construction of buildings to reduce and mitigate the problems caused.
